I grew up in England watching my Nana Hazel design and knit, and it fascinated me. She started to teach me when I was five, with love and patience. Now as I work, I still feel that closeness, even though we are 4000 miles apart. At fifteen, my Great Cousin Audrey taught me how to crochet. So then I had two loves! I always liked to try and make new things, but I really started to write my own patterns after I came to the US in 2007.

I love working on things meticulously, and have found a love of working with mini Perler™ beads. Each bead must be placed with very fine tweezers, and a design can be easily destroyed with a single breath! Each piece requires patience and precision from start to finish.
